The State Institute for Nature Protection (SINP) is a public institution responsible for expertise work in nature protection in Croatia.  It was set up by the Government of the Republic of Croatia in October 2002 and started operating in September 2003. The SINP performs a number of activities with the aim to ensure the maintenance and enhancement of nature conservation in Croatia.

Commissioned by the Dutch government, Staatsbosbeheer takes care of a considerable share of the natural heritage of the Netherlands, for and on behalf of society, contributing to a sustainable living environment for man, plant and animal.

The Joint Nature Conservation Committee is the public body that advises the UK Government and devolved administrations for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales on UK-wide and international nature conservation. Our role is to provide evidence, information and advice so that decisions are made that protect natural resources and systems.
